                                      PHWFF EUROPE OFFICIALLY OPEN

We finally made our commitment with PHWFF and have been tremendously busy getting things organized as we debut our commitment with the local Army facility and wounded Soldiers, we will continue to strive and make an effort in ensuring we both meet our goals not only by directly working with the WTU in the nearby Army facility in Germany but with PHWFF stateside, this is a tremendous step in helping those who serve.

Follow us on our site as we progress into a new era of adventure and continue to bring in local fishing club and business in Europe to help us make a difference in what we do as a group and organzation.

                                VETERANS FIND THERAPY IN FLY FISHING

LONG BEACH - Monday mornings on a baseball field at the Long Beach Veterans Affairs hospital, disabled veteran Andy Anderson practices his fly fishing techniques. 

Though fond of the sport, Anderson acknowledges its challenges.

"The wheelchair wasn't made for fly fishing," Anderson said.

Anderson joins other disabled veterans with Project Healing Waters, an organization for disabled veterans.

Founded by retired Navy Capt. Ed Nicholson, Project Healing Waters teaches basic fly fishing, fly casting and fly tying techniques, an effort Anderson deeply appreciates. READ MORE
